Overview

This program offers students a comprehensive study of jazz music from academic and performance perspectives.  We offer a strong foundation in performance and jazz improvisation, history, theory and arranging. The Jazz Studies minor is open to all students majoring in music and all non-music majors after successful completion of an audition demonstrating sufficient performance, theoretical, and keyboard skills.
