Overview

The Journalism minor is an excellent complement to a variety of majors as it helps you practice and perfect the kinds of skills you will need as you enter the work force: research, writing and editing; visual skills such as design and photography; digital skills to help with multimedia storytelling; broadcast skills to help with electronic storytelling using videography, editing and reporting.

All students can practice these skills at our award-winning, daily student media: 30-minute, live TV newscast News Watch, The Daily Eastern News, Hit Mix 88.9 FM and the Warbler yearbook. 

Completion time: 18 credit hours
