Overview

The Master of Arts in Communication Studies provides students with an opportunity to engage in a multifaceted course of study grounded in a strong theoretical base, but also recognizing the marketplace. Students can choose from three areas of concentration:

  • Interpersonal Communication Processes
  • Strategic Communication
  • Media and Critical Studies

The program prepares students to be more competitive in the work place or to continue studies in a Ph.D. program.

The department also offers the option in Communication Pedagogy, the online option in Communication and Leadership, and the online certificate in Communication Processes.
